AUT course: ACTIVATING UNCONVENTIONAL THINKING BY SELFMOBILITY MODEL

Einstein’s quote: 'We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used to create them' is more relevant today than ever before. So, why is unconventional thinking important today? The answer lies in the well-known saying, 'Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures'. By 'extraordinary times', we mean the increasing intertwining of human and artificial intelligence. This will force people to adopt unconventional forms of thinking so that we can distinguish between human and artificial intelligence and use artificial intelligence to its full potential
AUT course is based on the concept of 'selfmobility' (original Slovenian term: samomobilnost), which was developed as a thought model at the Center Spirala several years ago, based on working with and observing the thought processes of different groups of people. Selfmobility addresses human development, either personal or professional, when it comes to human thinking, unconventionally, which subsequently also affects organisational performances. Inside its development framework, selfmobility (in)directly touches on various human issues, such as identity, our limited knowledge of the self, motivation and engagement, the contradictions between human egoism and altruism. It also addresses thinking issues, such as out-of-the-box thinking, the limitations of critical thinking in light of the human mindset, and the relationship between types of thinking and levels of the human mindset
Target groups:
Project leaders in coordinators
Leaders in working organisations
Career counselors and coaches
Young adults
Other interested in the subject
Course objectives
Learn the basic principles behind the Selfmobility thinking model and acquire practical approaches to activate our unconventional thought processes, becoming more aware and strengthening our personal and professional development, deepening our soft skills and increasing our motivation
Added value of the mobility
The AUT course focuses on leadership, motivation, engagement, self-knowledge and personal development. Based on this, participants will gain a better understanding of the following developmental dilemmas and challenges:
o What is the central, often hidden, reason for achieving our personal and career goals?
o Why do our employees often lack motivation, which is reflected in their organisational behavior?
o Which is the central challenge (as well as paradox) in our efforts to think 'out of the box' given the human mindset?
o How can we successfully reconcile societal expectations for people to be successful, ambitious and competitive with expectations for them to be altruistic, empathetic, supportive and devoted to equality, civil rights and inclusion?
o Which skills do we humans need to develop most to successfully compete with the potential of unstoppable AI?
